Instructions

- Prepare the Tortillas: Warm the tortillas briefly in a pan or microwave to make them pliable and easier to roll without cracking or breaking.
- Assemble the Taquitos: Spoon a portion of the chicken filling along one edge of each tortilla. Roll the tortilla tightly into a cylinder, ensuring the filling is secure. Place each rolled taquito seam-side down on a plate or tray to keep them closed.
- Cook the Taquitos: Choose your preferred cooking method:
• Frying: Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry taquitos for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
• Baking: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange taquitos on a baking sheet, lightly spray with oil, and bake for 15–20 minutes until crispy and golden.
• Air Frying: Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F). Place taquitos in the basket without overcrowding, cook for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through, until crisp and golden. - Serve: Serve the hot crispy taquitos immediately with your choice of optional toppings like sour cream, guacamole, salsa, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and fresh cilantro for an extra burst of flavor.
