Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure the bark doesn’t stick and clean up is easy.
  2. Melt the chocolate: Place the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each interval until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  3. Spread melted chocolate: Pour about two-thirds of the melted chocolate onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it evenly to form a base layer.
  4. Add pretzels: Arrange the pretzels evenly over the spread chocolate, gently pressing them into the chocolate so they adhere well.
  5. Melt caramel mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine unwrapped caramels with the heavy cream and microwave for 2 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the caramel is melted and smooth.
  6. Drizzle caramel: Evenly drizzle the melted caramel mixture over the pretzels on the chocolate base.
  7. Drizzle remaining chocolate: Use the remaining melted chocolate to drizzle over the caramel layer, adding extra chocolate flavor and decoration.
