  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

Delicious Philly cheesesteak sliders made with thinly sliced beef, sautéed onions and green bell peppers, topped with melted provolone cheese on soft slider buns. Perfect as a party appetizer or a satisfying snack, these sliders are easy to prepare and full of classic Philly flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef & Vegetables

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

Cheese & Buns

  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 slider buns

Seasoning & Oil

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it is ready for baking the assembled sliders.
  2. Sauté Vegetables. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and green bell peppers, sautéing until they become soft and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Cook Beef. Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet with the softened vegetables. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste, mixing well.
  4. Assemble Sliders. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Arrange the bottom halves in a baking dish. Evenly distribute the cooked beef and vegetable mixture on top of the buns, then layer the provolone cheese slices over the meat. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
  5. Bake Sliders. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the buns turn golden brown.
  6. Serve. Remove the sliders from the oven, slice between buns if necessary, and serve warm for the best flavor experience.

Notes

  • Feel free to add mushrooms or other favorite toppings such as jalapeños or banana peppers for extra flavor.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated; bake them just before serving to enjoy warm sliders.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mayonnaise, or a spicy chipotle sauce for added taste.
