Description

Irresistibly Cheesy Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are a savory, bite-sized delight perfect for any appetizer or snack. Juicy seasoned ground beef and melty cheddar cheese are wrapped in soft biscuit dough, brushed with garlic butter, and baked to golden perfection. Topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, these bombs deliver a perfect balance of cheesy, garlicky, and savory flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef (Ground turkey or chicken can be used for a lighter option.)
  • 8 cubes cheddar cheese (Any melty cheese like Monterey Jack or pepper jack can be used.)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (Fresh garlic can replace this, with 1 clove equaling about 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder.)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (Substitute with chopped fresh onion, but reduce moisture content.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (Adjust based on taste preference or dietary needs.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (White pepper may be used for a subtler spice.)

Dough

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count) (Homemade dough or pizza dough can be used for a fresher touch.)

Topping and Finishing

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (Olive oil can work as a dairy-free alternative.)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (Adjust to taste if preferred milder.)
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (Use Pecorino Romano for a sharper taste.)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (Can be omitted if not available.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure easy cleanup and prevent sticking.
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 pound of ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat to reduce greasiness, then stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Let the mixture cool slightly to prevent melting the dough prematurely.
  3. Prepare Dough: Flatten each of the 8 rounds of biscuit dough into circles about 3 inches wide to create a base for the filling.
  4. Fill and Seal: Spoon a generous amount of the cooled beef mixture into the center of each flattened biscuit, then place a cube of cheddar cheese on top. Fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch them together to create a tight seal. Roll each into a smooth ball to enclose the fillings completely.
  5. Arrange on Sheet: Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly to allow for expansion during baking.
  6. Make Garlic Butter: Melt unsalted butter over low heat and stir in minced garlic to infuse the butter with garlic flavor.
  7. Brush and Top: Brush the garlic butter generously over each dough ball, then sprinkle grated parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley on top for extra flavor and an attractive finish.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes or until the dough balls are golden brown. Monitor closely near the end to avoid over-baking.
  9. Cool and Serve: Let the cheeseburger bombs cool slightly before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauces for a delicious appetizer or snack.
