Ingredients

Scale

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shaved
  • 1/2 cup croutons (optional)
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to coat evenly. Drizzle in lemon juice and mix gently.
  2. Grill the Shrimp: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink, opaque, and slightly charred.
  3. Make the Caesar Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Warm the Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat and warm each flour tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable and warmed through.
  5. Assemble the Wraps: Lay each warmed tortilla flat and spread a generous layer of Caesar dressing over the surface. Add grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and if desired, sprinkle with croutons and crumbled bacon.
  6. Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling securely.
  7. Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately while the shrimp are warm and the flavors are fresh.

Notes

  • You can substitute grilled shrimp with grilled chicken or tofu for variation.
  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free tortillas and ensure croutons are gluten-free or omit them.
  • Add extra veggies like sliced cucumbers or tomatoes for additional freshness.
  • The wraps are best served immediately to keep the tortillas from becoming soggy.
  • Leftover Caesar dressing can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
